AtlasIED Headquarters, Phoenix AZ - AtlasIED, the global electronics manufacturer providing comprehensive audio solutions for commercial businesses, announces location reorganizations to support their continued business growth in engineered systems sales.

Atlas Sound and Innovative Electronic Designs (IED) became sister companies in 2009 but continued to operate independently with combined oversight at the executive management level. During these years, IED operated in Louisville, Kentucky while Atlas Sound operated manufacturing and support services separately with manufacturing in Ennis, Texas and sales and marketing located in Phoenix, AZ.

As digital audio has evolved, rather than multiple suppliers, customers want single-system providers for entire solutions.In 2010, the parent company of Atlas Sound and IED began a multi-year consolidation strategy to better support the market’s need. In 2015, Atlas Sound and IED completed the first phase with the introduction of our new, combined brand name, AtlasIED. This included a unified sales management, distribution channel, and marketing approach.

Today, AtlasIED has completed the second restructure phase with manufacturing consolidation. The organization has moved all manufacturing into the company’s two main facilities – the 1 million sq. ft. Ennis, TX location and the 100,000 sq. ft. Phoenix, AZ location. This new approach provides faster build times and a “one call” service department covering all AtlasIED product offerings.

Our Louisville, KY facility has been proudly converted into the company’s new “Excellence Center in Research and Development” and also houses the company’s training center for online and classroom education courses. This new center provides the company one location for innovative product development, engineering, applications support, and training personnel.
