One On One!
Located in Louisville Kentucky, our centrally-located training center provides a combination of lectures and hands-on training. The mix will vary, depending on the subject being taught. AtlasIED’s Training Centers were built to provide a comfortable atmosphere for instruction. We limit class size to 12 or less in order to provide a better student learning experience.
Hands On!
The AtlasIED Training Center includes a dedicated training lab for “hands-on” training exercises. This lab has complete systems available for student use. With the addition of the training lab, we combine lectures with real-world use training. We provide shorter lecture periods followed, immediately, by a focused hands-on experience. The result is a better learning experience!
GLOBALCOM.IP Dante
This class provides instruction and practical exercises for the GLOBALCOM.IP system using Dante as the HD network audio transport. Students will learn to connect, configure and operate the system and its various endpoint components. Students will receive class lectures followed by the exercises. This course is limited to twelve students per class and is targeted at certified transit integrators.

This class provides instruction and practical exercises for the GLOBALCOM.IP system using CobraNet as the HD network audio transport. Students will learn to connect, configure and operate the system and its various endpoint components. Students will receive class lectures followed by the exercises.

GLOBALCOM.IP HD
This class provides instruction and practical exercises for the GLOBALCOM.IP system. The focus is on IP-only systems with some added information about installing a limited set of HD endpoints. (There is no server-based systems instruction in this class) Students will learn to connect, configure and operate the system and its various endpoint components. Students will receive class lectures followed by the exercises.

Hands On Tuning of 1/3rd Octave Equalization
This class provides instruction and “Hands On” exercises on AtlasIED Sound Masking products. This course is scheduled quarterly and iIncludes training, lodging in local hotel while in Phoenix, and meals (breakfast at hotel, lunch at training center, hosted dinner on evening prior to training). We suggest one arrives in Phoenix on the day before class before 5:00 p.m. We also suggest that one plans the departure flight either on the day of training AFTER 6:30 p.m. or on the next day. Classroom Instruction consists of 2 AVIXA or BICSI courses titled:
- “Sound Masking Basics” equivilant to 1 BICSI CEC, AVIXA 1 RU CTS, CTS-I & CTS-D
- “Tuning Sound Masking Systems.” equivilant to 1 BICSI CEC
The instructor will show students how to “tune” a sound masking system for best results using a Type I meter and 1/3rd octave equalization. Students will receive class lecture followed by a set of practical exercises with:
- M1000 masking in the plenum
- FAP40T Down firing A/B
- Open to Deck using the M1000R-W
- “Cloud” Masking along with Closed Office Tuning
