IED Hardware for Running 1000vACS Software

The IED 1000vACS can run on any server that meets the minimum hardware requirements. The chart below illustrates the differences between five different servers available directly from IED that can run the 1000vACS software.

The 1152SERVER is capable of operating as either a 1000vACS or 1000MSG in a GLOBALCOM^® system. The 1152SERVER has enough processing power and hard drive storage to additionally run the 1000TEL and 1000DCI software applications. The 1152SERVER is also capable of running the T-CAS, FAS, or Prizm Client software packages. The 1152SERVER is UL-2572 recognized server that is also UL-864 listed and includes the operating system Windows^® Server 2012 with an Intel^® i7-4700EQ processor, 8GB memory and a 500GB hard drive. The unit also features an 8 input x 8 output CobraNet^® digital audio sound card and one VGA and one DVI video output. Additionally, the 1152SERVER includes dual 1GB network adapter, dual 100MB digital audio adapters, and a redundant 400W power supply.

The 1151SERVER is capable of operating as either a 1000vACS or 1000MSG in a GLOBALCOM^® system. The 1151SERVER has enough processing power and hard drive storage to additionally run the 1000TEL and 1000DCI software applications. The 1151SERVER is also capable of running the T-CAS, FAS, or Prizm Client software packages. The 1151SERVER is a Dell^® PowerEdge server that includes the Windows^® Server 2012 operating system with an Intel^® Xeon E5-2400 processor, 8GB DDR3 memory and triple 500GB RAID hard drives. The unit also features an 8 input x 8 output CobraNet^® digital audio sound card and dual VGA video outputs. Additionally, the 1151SERVER includes dual 1GB network adapter, dual 100MB digital audio adapters, and a redundant 495W power supply.

The 1150SERVER is capable of operating as either a 1000vACS or 1000MSG in a GLOBALCOM^® system. The 1150SERVER has enough processing power and hard drive storage to additionally run the 1000TEL and 1000DCI software applications. The 1200CPU is also capable of running the T-CAS, FAS, or Prizm Client software packages. The 1150SERVER is a Dell^® PowerEdge server that includes the operating system Windows® Server 2012 with an Intel^® Core i3 processor, 8GB DDR3 memory and a 500GB hard drive. The unit also features an 8 input x 8 output CobraNet^® digital audio sound card and dual VGA video outputs. Additionally, the 1150SERVER includes dual 1GB network adapter, dual 100MB digital audio adapters, and a non-redundant 250W (100V-240V) power supply.

The 1200CPU is capable of handling the functions of any one of the following software applications, 1000vACS, 1000MSG, 1000TEL, or 1000DCI in a GLOBALCOM^® system. The 1200CPU is not capable of running the T-CAS, FAS, or Prizm Client software packages. The 1200CPU includes the Windows^® 7 embedded operating system with an Intel^® Atom 1.6GHz processor, 2GB DDR3 memory and a 40GB hard drive. The unit also features an 8 input x 8 output CobraNet^® digital audio sound card and VGA/DVI video output. Additionally, the 1200CPU includes 8 (10-pin Phoenix) logic inputs and 8 (10-pin Phoenix) relay outputs.

The 1100CPU is the basic level of computer that can be used in a GLOBALCOM^® system. The 1100CPU is capable of handling the functions of any one of the following software applications, 1000vACS, 1000MSG, 1000TEL, or 1000DCI.  The 1100CPU is not capable of running the T-CAS, FAS, or Prizm Client software packages. The 1100CPU includes the Windows^® 7 embedded operating system with an Intel^® Atom 1.6GHz processor, 2GB DDR3 memory and a 40GB hard drive. The unit also features an 8 input x 8 output CobraNet^® digital audio sound card and VGA/DVI video output.
