AtlasIED Earns Two Awards at Inaugural TMAC Manufacturing Excellence Awards

Phoenix, AZ – June 10, 2026 - AtlasIED, a recognized leader in the commercial AV and security industries, has been awarded two inaugural TMAC Manufacturing Excellence Awards, which recognize organizations and individuals driving innovation, workforce development and economic growth across Texas.

AtlasIED has been honored with the "Excellence in Technology Adoption" award for its successful integration of robotics and artificial intelligence into manufacturing processes. This advancement has significantly improved efficiency and enhanced the company's global competitiveness. Additionally, Kurt Sounders, Process Engineering Manager, AtlasIED, has received the "Rising Engineer" award for his impressive work in developing automated production lines and rapidly deploying collaborative robots to bolster domestic manufacturing operations in North Texas.

The University of Texas at Arlington-based Texas Manufacturing Assistance Center (TMAC) offers the award as an expansion of TMAC’s previous customer appreciation program into a statewide recognition of excellence across the manufacturing ecosystem, with winners selected by a panel of judges from industry and partner organizations.

“The AtlasIED team takes pride in the recognition we receive, as well as in the achievements of our individual team members who contribute greatly to our success,” said Travis Pranshke, VP of Global Quality at AtlasIED. “We are extremely proud of the progress we are making in Texas, and this acknowledgment of the AtlasIED team is significant, and the recognition of Kurt Sounders is truly well-deserved. We look forward to continuing our work in Texas and serving the community to the best of our ability.”
